Portrait of Odin by Wolverat Portrait of Odin by Wolverat
Odin with Huginn and Muninn, his eyes and ears. Oil on a 14"X18" canvas board.

Some one mentioned that Odin was an old gray headed man so I decided to alter the painting. I think it's much better this way.

You are more than welcome to use my artwork as reference for a tattoo. All I ask is that you photograph the tattoo when it's finished and send me a post. I'd like to see how it comes out. :0)

I changed my mind from a portrait of the Allfather to a sleeve dedicated to Ragnarok. I will still show you if you like because the start of the sleeve is still epic, and I did get the idea to put in Huginn and Muninn from you.

I love the colors and style of odinn, and i am glad that you made him with no horns and not marvelized. This is a real good representation of our allfather.

Thanks very much! He used to have dark hair and the background was darker also. I changed it so the ravens would show up better and I think the gray hair makes Odin look more serious.

Great image! I always picture Odin with white hair, but maybe that's because most of the pictures I've seen of him included white hair. This is really cool.

I almost made him with blond hair but decided to go with dark hair instead. Thanks for checking out my new painting.
